I recently copped AKG 171 MKII's which are dope.. They're made for broadcasting and DJ-mixing but y'all know about the booming low-end of the dj-headphones!! its basically a school of audio engineering.. i'll graduate as a music engineer in 2 years if everything goes fine, lol!

i can master the tape cuz my school has pretty dope mastering tools.. I usually put all my 404 beats thru SPL Tube Vitalizer, TC electronics finalizer and finally spice em up with Solid State Logic master compressors and EQs. (all hardware) so the mastering won't be a problem if y'all lemme do it.

i do this all the time.. sequence a heavily compressed drum loop, chop up the drumloop add some EQ to the drum hits and layer em to their right positions in the drumloop.

thanks for the feedback Solace! Yeah chops might sound messy.. I made all the jointz today under the influence of trees plus im always after the grimey sound anywayz. and yea these are sequenced in the ASR.
