hey y'all. i'm ALL over the 'low budget sampling' or lo-fi angle, but just wanted to put it out there, that some of us aren't making hip hop. i fink its safe to say that hip hop has influenced everyone on here, but i'm making indie rock or post-rock or some other hybrid named fing. and i fink w/ peeps talkin about animal collective, el guincho, dosh, panda bear, fourtet, etc., there are pro'lly others in the same weirdie boat i'm in.

otherwise i'm all over this.

i maybe missed the earlier threads...is there a place i should send stuff or a date to have it in by? sorry if that's been addressed.

peace. and props to everyone finking of this.

I think the tread is called "mixtape submissions" or something like that. It is currently right below this thread.

ha ha - for sure - not asking to have it all captured, just to not have it proclaiming itself a hip hop fing.

but yeah, post-post-rock (or post-raisin bran)

I think we might be about ready for a poll...

what do you guys think of nominating final selections, instead of throwing all of them in??? where someone would have to nominate a name for it to be considered...

that way we could rule out any that were just thrown out there and later passed up by something more on point. might also make setting up the pole a bit simpler.

There's so many good titles in here. I'd like to contribute a track if I could.
