Hey i just bought a microkorg XL, it was the one they had on display in the store.

I brought it home, and decided to use the Headphone output but in my speakers audio is only coming out of the left side. when i set the SP to mono it comes out both sides but if its on stereo then the audio is only ...

I just bought one and i plugged the cable into the headphone jack but the audio is only coming out of the left side of the speaker.

is this the way it is? is the jack messed up? or do i need adjust some setting within the synth to make it stereo?

Hey guys i cant seem to find my Sp404sx wave converter software disk. i was wondering if i could still put tracks on the SD card somehow?

when ever i want to do that ducking trick the chords volume i always put at around 30. kick volume stay the same.

i think whats happening for me is that after some effect applications etc the volume is no longer at a "nominal" level so the final resample has a lot of that "floor noise"? i think its referred as. Basically always recording shit in as loud as possible helps. make sure that red light is flickering.

man you can get such deep lo pass filtering with canceler, especially if you resample a couple times, seriously sounds amazing


i tried this for the first time today. i agree. low end theory ftw =D.

it seems to filter out everything but the deep end and then boosts it.
i sampled something and ...

so i never really realized it maybe im mistaken but it seems like the sound quality is better when you use the pattern sequencer and record out into something vs resampling beat to pad and then exporting via card.

perhaps the real 12 note polyphony vs cramming everything into 1 stereo or mono pad ...

at first i thought subsonic effect was the shit but then i realize it seems to be overly powerful even on its weakest setting.

was wondering if anyone here uses subsonic regularly and if they seem to think the same thing as me regarding the bass power.

If it is too powerful how do you guys ...

i use this technique on drum samples. Mostly to pitch things down though. Ill pitch up a hi hat sometimes by catching it with DJFX and moving the knob up.

1. wutever sample you want ducking out, turn the vol really low. like around 10-30.

2. turn on MFX12. knob 1 all the way to the right, knob 2 all the way to the left, knob 3 all the way to the right, with effect limit on.
