Hi all
i have got ableton live,ableton detects my sp606 the sp606 is connected as my soundcard fine but when i go to midi settings i can select the 606 but i cannot get control over the instruments in ableton
can anyone help me

im running kinetic 2 i can use my sp 606 as sound card from computer kinetic also recognises the sp606 as a midi device but when i hit the pads i get no control over instruments any ideas?

i Have downloaded vista drivers when i connect the sampler to my computer and hit ext control the computer sees the sampler but when i got 606 software i get error msgs about soundcard and a msg that says an error occured while conecting hardware device,pls check your connections p606 will now close ...

what are the steps involved in hooking the sp 606 up thru midid to 606?
can i also dump samples/loops from p606 to the sampler

when using the effects on the 606 can u assign different pads to fx1 and diffent pads to fx2 or does it mean the same pads get allocated to both effects

I cannot find a USB pad on the 606 and I did not recieve a manual with my purchase

My computer will recognize the 606 as USB mass storage I am then able to drop samples in to that folder
My question is how do I then access this sample in my 606?

I'm new to the world of Roland samplers so pls bear with me
When I go to record a pattern on a empty pattern slot it always says either patter full or memory full but I am using a new 512nb compact flash card that has plenty of sampling time
Can anyone help me pls
