Im connecting it through usb, it recognizes the in and out but under control surface it doesnt come up. Not sure what you mean by "driver x" I don't see anything labeled that.

I was just wondering if anyone could help me out ,im trying to hook up my microkorg xl up to ableton so i can use it as a midi controller but it seems to be giving me problems, i.e not working.

I know this is off topic in sp forums but ableton forums and korg forums both got no responses.

Does anybody use either of these. Been using sp's and mpc's with synths and stuff for about 2 years, all hardware. I never really liked software,but ableton with this controller looks really cool.

I used a 404 adapter with my 303 for a couple months worked fine ,no side effects or frying. I would always use the right adapter with my electronics though just to be on the safe side. I had no choice because i left my 303 adapter in a different country by accident and had to wait for shipping.

When I saw Animal Collective in June, they used Roland SP stuff a lot. Geologist uses two SP-555's and a SP-404. I think Panda Bear did Person Pitch on a SP-555, and I know that Bradford Cox uses an SP-404 on some ...

samplers are machines of endless possibilities and are as creative as you are.

i have a 303 and a 404 so i'm not sure if you can save effects on the 555, But you can always apply the effect and use the resample function.

great start i was diggin it. Maybe add a fat bass line or a minimal vocal sample? Like your influences too.

Hey, i'm looking to run my sp's and machinedrum through something to give it more of a warm sound. I was looking into moogerfoogers but they seem overpriced(anybody here use them?). any other suggestions?

If it has midi ,line in and out, it is indeed crazy.

Is it possible on the sp-404 to have apply two different effects to different samples simultaneously?

example: apply reverb to sample 1 and isolator to sample 2.
