I enjoy the idea of using little tools like this on my computer to get some sounds just right and then putting them on my 404. Rather than just using ACID of FL to basically make a song and then copy it over to the sampler.

And it worked fine for me. Does it job just fine.

So would it be possible to use the midi control of the expression pedal on a FCB1010 midi foot control board as a control for volume on a SP-404?

Well it depends on the sampler... with a 303 or 404 you can use the isolator effect to crudely change the volume while resampling.

If the 404 can recognize the velocity of a pad hit on a external MIDI controller and adjust and save the volume on the playback of that pad...

...cant you program a couple of slider midi controllers to control the volume of pads by assigning it to control the same value as the velocity message ...

just use it to store and play sounds period!

to make a copy of a sample without resampling just export the sample to the card and (as long there is nothing else on the card) just import it back in.

I am trying to make a constant sine wave that I can just have set on loop and keep going for as long as I want.

I make a frequency with subsonic and resample right?
