thats how i feel but primo's nyte time mix is the best song from both, hate to sound cliche but primo went in on that beat. one of the illest beats ever.

Gotta say DITC really changed my thinkin towards hiphop was a pure west coast head till sumone lent me DITC worldwide album.

Runaway slave is class, I can listen to that album from start to finish, no filler... and one of my fave hip hop tracks ever, definition of a possie cut

Probs my fave member for beats tho is diamond d, he got many styles, stunts, blunts n hip hop is a hip hop classic and he had crate loads of dope remixes in the 90s, most of em better than the originals. oh and he made the fugees n fu schnikens sound dope ha ha

pretty much all that has been said already, plus OC's two albums are really dope.......good fellas or runaway slave can both be my favored album at different times, lately good fellas has been doin me right though......

which brings me to this, i dig the track 'got ya back' heavily, as i'm sure many do, and came to realize the sample is on a herbie album i got (Mwandishi, one of my favorites), see here at 8:56
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUFINUzGt8E

Show & AG - Got Ya Back
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmYyhwaDSng

so i sampled it in and tried to loop it up, but it just didn't sound right, and after fuckin with it for a little, i realized that it is the loop, but its chopped up into 4 pieces and each one is pitched totally different, it took me a while to get em all right (the last hit that brings it back to the top is lower than -10 so i had to use the pitch effect)

obviously he had a sp 12 (from the brother show) and could pitch it in the machine, but the way he turned it into that melody as opposed to the one in the herbie song is nuts, its subtle, but the end product just has a totally different feel, i've never heard somethin flipped like that before, especially for 94/95

it reminds me of some article i read before (which i can't seem to find right now) where this dude is talkin about his favorite sample flips and brings up tribes 'lyrics to go' sample of david t walker and how he never heard anybody cut somethin like that at the time, shit was blowin my mind earlier
