So i have an SP404 sx and i noticed that when i run drums through the radio tuner effect with all knobs turn to zero, if you turn Knob 3 to around the 9oclock-1oclock area you get what seems like somewhat of a compression effect.
Wanted to see if anyone had ever played around with it.

^^^
nice
it seems to give it some fatness and a bit of distortion. The only difference im aware of is the effect number.(on the og i think its MSX16)
I also used the effect on subsonic bass tones which gave them a thicker sound and a slight background hiss.

props! good tip. i use the radio tuner (OG) to add sci-fi noise to stuff. hadn't thot of it as a sub.
