hello all,

Here is my beat. I have been reading the forum for the past couple of years only recently joined as a member. I have learned a ton from this site and want to thank everyone who keeps it up and running.

I used both samples and only my 404. Most of the samples have been tinkered beyond recognition. I will give feedback on every beat posted in the poll section once the battle closes. Props to everyone chopping the shit outta this.

Hey BlackSnow, dont be sad that nodoby comments on your beat ( which in my opinion is pretty good for a beginner ) cuz this thread is theoretically rather for submission of the beats. You will hear some reviews in the official voting thread for sure! Welcome on board!

I listened to lots of stuff in the meantime and it's just awesome what's going on in here (musically). Thanx to keesj and Roland. Hope some of you cats stay in the arena even if there are no prizes.

used both samples... sp-404 and mv-8800... did a lot of bouncing between the two... resampling w/ efx... used the mv bass synth, but otherwise it's all from the samples

did one battle a while back... figured i'd have to try and jump in for this one... it's a pretty cool thing you guys have going here, and i'm happy to be able to take part in it... thnx

too bad life ain't only music... so here is my quick reaper 303 session... *still warm* all fx are 303/404 ...even the fades... but too many weird breaks .. i know... first experience with the 303 and ext. sequencer... still learning you know.. there used to be a another d'n'b smash down part in it ...but i rather get drunk and overthink all this music ishnizz...
