It's dope! i really like the changeup in the middle. drums sound nice...

@IIIII, i had to record to the mpc cuz my laptop is out of comission. but the longer the sample, the less accurate the wave readout :?
i tried to normalise but i guess there must be a wild peak in there somewhere... or the lows are too much...when i get my protools back i'll fix it up louder i hope. great beats all!

so ive never participated in a battle ever... which is a shame on my part... but i wanted to at least contribute just to contribute because of the good cause... i cheated left and right and broke rules at every chance i got but did it knowing i wasnt going to act like i did it all with my 404... i cut up the samples with audacity and any and all pitching and effects were done on my esx.. i used my 404 to record the patterns from my esx with the vinyl sym on... and i threw the opening sample in there for laughs with audacity... the cheating i did didnt do anything for me seeing as my song is still not really up to par and really an experiment with song mode on my esx which i had never used before tonight.. again i stake no claim in the runnings for either color of faceplate i only wanted to contribute to be another number in the hype for this special project..

oh and i couldnt figure out how to turn on the "play" button on my boxnet page if anyone can tell me holler...

im off to listen to other peoples stuff.. i had stayed away for a while to mess with my own stuff before hearing what others had done..

ormo... way to initiate the samples and get wild.. i cant even begind to figure out how your sequenced what you made..

iiiiiii the overall feel was tip top

tee wok was my fav from the get go and needs several more listens

dibiase drum sequences were hott and use of the effects too.. i get so lost on my 404 i donno how you cats do it..

kel i have "hell yea drums and cymbols" written nect to your name.. i remember liking your highhats and chops of the drums a lot.. way to go..

Not Saturday or Sunday; the battle ends on Tuesday 22nd of September.

We're not going to be a beatch about entering a beat 5 minutes past the 22th of September deadline, but it's best to try and finish the beats before the 22nd.

I'd advice taking this weekend as the final few days to submit beats, so you're on time regardless of a small delay.

I'm sure we won't have any issues though as most people are probably eager to finish their beats for this.

Official deadline is the 22nd of September though, so by all means take your time to make something special. If you start now, there's plenty of time. 8)

Alright thats cool. Job's killin me and my time... but next week should be no problem with me. How many people are already in this shit? I stopped listening to other peoples beats since dibiase blew me away. I'd love to check out Kel's shit but... grrrr... every dope shit I hear just lets me loose the focus on my own music. fucking evil mind tricks....
