i wrote them to know if it was possible to play monome's programs also with other gear. i saw people play them also , for ex.,with pad kontrol etc. but their answering were a little elusive and too technical for me. basically you have to write things with max/msp. not easy for a dinosaur like me.nyquest wrote:monome is representative of one of those terrible things that I hate about humanity.

Buy a doepfer DIY usb midi kit and solder 64 illuminated buttons to it.. build your case.. Hurray you have something just as good as a monome, only 1/10th as expensive.
