Midi on pads

Post by Silami »

Hi there.

Another midi problem, I know there's a lot of people asking about that on here.

I'm trying to use my SP606 thru USB as a midicontroller for Traktor Scratch.
The thing is, the midi works(thanks to this forum, for the external/v-link tip). The fx rotary knobs, the MFX1 and MFX2 buttons and the D-beam send midi messages. But that's all.
I can't get my pads to send midi messages, nor the sequencer buttons, the big value rotary/menu scroller, or any other button.

Inside my P606 software, everything works just fine, but I think the P606 does not communicate with midi, but on another level with the SP606.

Anyone else has experienced this, or knows the right settings?

Press EXT

Then press and hold FUNC, and press pad 5 (note trig)

Then its all good in the woods.
