No prob boomer. At the end of the day, if being a compulsive troll on here 24/7 brings you happiness and purpose, who am I to knock it?

Carry on mate! Hopefully you’ll be able to finally make something on the mkii if or whenever you get it.

Well if anyone would know, you would

Thank's for confirming you're a British troll again, mate, but as for making something on the MKII, well I dunno 'bout that bro, will have to see if Roland really are sick-minded enough to actually release what was leaked. The contrast between this thing and the MPC ONE is so strong it's blinding me right now!

I was watching Blezz the other day, I like his laid-back style but I was really disappointed with him this time. Anyone would think Roland had promised him some free skirt or something. I mean, is there anyone on YouTube prepared to verbally rip Roland a new arsehole for the complete and utter fuck-up they just made of connectivity alone?

Put it this way. We are all VERY aware of how unacceptably flawed the original was, and nothing, not even during its VERY lengthy production lifespan was ever fixed. And lemming that it was (and still is), the only things it DID at least get right were MIDI DIN, RCA and an SD-CARD slot. But ALL of those have gone TOO now, so what the FUCK we left with, exactly?

It's understandable that USB was needed these days, so here is what they SHOULD have done:

- Replace the power jack with USB (Type-B) to act as power and/or USB (as on the MC-101)
- Leave RCA the fuck alone (it's used on all cassette decks, turntables and DJ equipment)
- Leave the SD-CARD the fuck alone (meaning on the actual unit where it belongs)
- MIDI IN and MIDI OUT should be on DIN (because DIN is the standard format for MIDI)

What I just specified right there takes up LESS spece and costs LESS to manufacture than the design those retards at Roland have decided upon. And that's before we even take into account the issues of soldered-in storage, the possibility of it STILL not being able to pan or pitch samples, and it now having 13 less effects available on the input than the current model has.

LMFAO - The thing is a COMPLETE fucking shambles as far as I can tell, but I guess we'll see

Looks like they really are sick-minded enough to release such a shambles then, but never mind, they only had a decade and a half of customer feedback to get it right. Let's at least hope they manage to release it without the price fixing practices they keep getting prosecuted for.

So they're releasing this shambles then, and in that case I'll wait to see whether they've also failed to give it pitching and panning, cause if they failed in that area as well, they can well and truly stick it up their nasty, corporate arseholes and I'll be going the AKAI route instead.

I'm guessing it'll be side-splittingly funny when Behringer comes along and leaves well enough alone while fixing everything that was broken, and he'll proabably do it at half the price as well. Hurry-up Uli for fuck sake, show these retards how it's done, and thanks in advance dude!

Yo, Cool, Sold!!!

Sooooo, in theory, this allows anyone with a SP404 og/SX/A to get their samples into a mk2 from the app right? And kinda be a sample library you can organize??

Let's hope the dubious use of "and more" translates to 'Pitch' and 'Pan' then shall we?

I saw a recent video from Jade Wii that suggests she's hiding one
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3MoYANLQDQ

I definitely won't be buying one until I've heard her opinion of it even if she hasn't got one. She wasn't exactly in love with the MPC ONE in her review of it and that's a way more capable machine than this thing is.

She's a big fan of the 404 so I'm looking forward to her reviewing it.
