i got nice drum loop and adding some a piano/guitar/trumphet or sthg its ok...
but i cant do the sampled beat.. help i trying choop it in many ways but still crap when 1 pad stop playin and i hit other the sound is bad.

i recommend stepping back and asking "what do i want each slice to do?",
rather than trying to lay it all out one pad after the other.

start minimal, put a one-note hit on the downbeats

once that is sounding good, throw another slice somewhere else

another tip which may help; as you Mark the slices you want, give the pad a good few hits and see if it 'works' as a chop. if it doesn't sound right, don't commit it to the SP, grab another section or get the start/end points right so that when you press the pad, it gels as a hit

just use the mark to get the chop close to where its supposed to be. then clean it up with the start/end point. if that aint enough hit the start/end point again and keep trimming your chop.

Do you want to sequence the beat?

Like you press one pad, and then you press another, and the sp waits until it is finished then plays the next pad?

If you want to do that, you must make patterns with you sp. Then it will let you hit the button any time, and it will still play perfect.

I hope that helps.

your english is fine man don't worry.

i think i can help you with that problem because i came up with a little work around.

when you want one pad to stop playing when you hit the next pad this is what i do.

put all the samples you want to use in the sequence on "loop" and take off "gate" mode (now for all the samples you want to use loop is lighting but gate is not).
then when you play one pad and you want to play the next hit the pad that is playing at the same time as the one you want to go next.
eg. lets say you have a sample on pad1 and another on pad2. hit pad1 and when you want pad2 to start playing hit pad1 and pad2 at the same time. this will stop the sample from pad1 and automatically start the sample on pad2.

i hope that helps man.

yeah, that shouldnt happen :? . You can always just recreate your pattern on another pad.

yeah, It usually aint too hard to recreate a pattern if they are both quantized. But you should try to figure out what went wrong when you tried to copy the pattern before- Are you sure you did everything step by step?
