I think you mean
direct drive as far as being able to scratch on. Outside of that, belt drive TTs are ok. Pitching is dependent on rather or not the TT has a pitch adjustment control/slider/knob (I don't see one on that Audio Technica)
I'd suggest looking at the Numark PT-01 if you haven't already made a decision.
