I like to do maths with SPs. Combining my 606 with a 404 makes a Roland SP-1010. Add in a 555 & you get a Roland SP-1565. Divide it by a 303 & you get a Roland SP-5.1650165016501650165016501650165.

The lofi mode on that combo is the lowest-fi known to mankind, shit sounds dank. The FX even cross from one sense to another, turn it on and you can even see in lofi. My favourite is to touch stuff with vinyl sim on. You name it, it feels like real vinyl! You should try it one day.

404 has 12 pad

use built in mic and sample yourself saying:

PAD 1: I love
PAD 2: Cigarettes
PAD 3: Monnnnney
PAD 4: Brocoli
PAD 5: #yolo
PAD 6: Jonwayne
PAD 7: ........adskgjbsdkjfgh

You can use 8 to 12 as you want.

Just make youself some wack raps while someone is beatboxiong.

if you're making music on a DAW you can use your 404 to color your samples before they are imported to your hard drive.

the 404 is great for layering drums and just for punching up drum samples..

use ableton to produce music but put a sp-303 on your album cover. people will think it sounds warm when it really doesn't.

The delay slowly changes as it repeats. I guess u could delay a sample on the sx (which has a setting to keep delay from getting to freaked out) and just let it sit for a few months. Let that sample age for a few shits. see what it sounds like in autumn
