I usually make beats with it, cut samples, make percussions and this stuff, but the truth is that I would buy a nice kitchen so i buy an sp to receive offers here.

I use myne for an ipod, the chicks dig it! I also have a battery powered vcr and crt monitor in a back pack for the youtubes these young people like so much.

SP 404, with batteries in it, makes a great blunt instrument to smack people with, like intruders, people who disagree with your own perfect perception of the world, and even people who just look weird.

However, without the batteries, there simply isn't enough weight to the unit to really cause much damage with the unit when striking vital points of the idiot you wish to make your power known to, the skull especially. With the batteries installed, even a 90 lbs. weakling has a good possibility of achieving their goal of inducing concussion status into a stupid individual.

As well, 404 also makes a good wedge to break someone's arm over. To do this, simply put the 404 underneath the forearm of the person you don't like, or political partisan hack then apply sharp and heavy pressure to the top of the arm near the wrist. The 404 should withstand the force while, fortunately, the bones of the moron will not. You'll hear a snapping sound, but I assure you, this is not your precious 404 breaking, merely the weak will of the person you are giving a lesson to.

Other things the 404 is good for is parts for putting security systems in your home. The number pads are perfect substitution for regular keypads for most home security devices. They offer more numbers, can be back lit and are large enough to input security codes even when you have a couple pints of beer sloshing around in your system.

There are many more uses for the 404, but these are some of my favorites.

These suggestions are all very 'out-of-the-box' (excuse the pun) but i'm looking at getting into the technology of the SP a bit deeper than just making a beat you know. Im just wondering if there is some mad stuff you do other than making a beat and hitting others over the head with it. l o l ?

Here is something you cat's should try out. Run a radio through your sp. Tune in to your local NPR station. Apply heavy chorus to the classical music that is playing. See what happens.

cool idea! sometimes i would run songs off the radio into my microkorgs vocoder and play along to the song

I just make beats with it or use it as effectbox. Wish the 303 had the DJ Looper effect though so I could hseiken's trick.
