yamaha rm1x
yamaha rs7000
emu command stations (mp7 or xl7)
alesis mmt-8

and of course mpcs!

there is a big range of price in the above list, the mmt-8s are pretty cheap and supposed to be really really solid for live ...

its just that you are exporting broadcast .wav or something similar. there are lots of different kinds of encoding that can be used and still have the .wav extension. protools is using a fancier type of wave, that probably includes other information in the file.

can you export as .aif from pro ...

when you export out of protools you probably have some extra options for like stereo interlaced or split stereo wave. i dunno i know cubase and nuendo have some weird wave options. i don't remember what the option was, but it used to mess me up when trying to use the .wavs with other software or my ...

is that one that uses the isolator? if so that very much is not a mute group workaround.

it is a track mute/only having 1 track per pattern workaround.

909 effect send (L and R) to 404 line in (L and R)
404 line out (L and R) to 909 effect return (L and R ...

its too hard to explain what im saying if you've never used ableton much less a computer to make music.

it can be as easy or as hard as you make it. you could simply track (record) your sp stuff (patterns) into something like ableton then bang out new patterns using a pad controller. the computer ...

mute groups are good shit!

i just got a 404 i wish it had at least 1 mute group. and note ...
