Sounds bargain to me.

SP808's with the expansion board that I've seen on ebay have gone for £200 ($400). Not seen an EX with the expansion board on there (I only check the uk auctions).

Obviously the shipping's gonna up that price a bit.

If I wasn't in a crisis of what I want to do ...

I don't really like this whole resampling thing banded around the way it is.

Only 4 tracks, but don't worry you can resample.

That would be all well and good if you could resample patterns into a sample. But you can't. As far as I know, you can't. Maybe you can, in which case I'm talking ...

BTW, I hope that ^ didn't come across as rude.

I don't claim to be a master on any of this kit (far from it) and am more than willing to learn the different stuff this kit can do.

Yeah, I'm using the 505 to trigger samples on the 606.

To be honest I'm not sure why you'd use it the other way round. What are you making the 505 do from the 606?

I don't like the sequencer of the 606. Far too limiting.

Well that's all rather embarrassing.

SEQ OUT will do the trick, funnily enough. Shift 8. It's settable per pattern.

MC505 + SP606 midi problem (it's always midi innit)

This is driving me round the bend, I hope someone can help. I think this is more of a MC505 issue than a SP606 issue to be honest.

I'm using the sequencer of the MC505 to trigger samples on the SP606.

What I don't understand is that I'm able to stop the keys playing samples (i.e. set the ...

Screen woes

I've got a 606. Bought second hand off ebay (I know, I know )

It's all good, apart from I have a problem with the screen and I don't know if it's a common problem or if anyone knows a simple fix.

It's intermittent (i.e. doesn't happen EVERY time), but basically I turn the unit off (after ...

Sounds to me like the sample's set up as GATE when you're trying to use it as a SHOT.

If that's the case, either extend the...... errr...... what's the term for how long the sample plays (man I wish I was sat at my 606), or change the sample type in the sample params.
