Aight so for everyone saying "the photos of the 404mk2 look photoshopped/manipulated, and photoshopping/manipulating an image makes the subject fake, therefore the 404mk2 is fake" (or any variation of this argument):

Disclaimer: This method only gets you about a second of resample time. But, if used well, you could have a quantized loop to use with the resample method, or you could use it in the sequencer and free up tracks for other ...

If you have a tape recorder, bounce a hot signal to tape for dirty saturation

Been doing a quarantine beat tape entirely by doing this, definitely adds a dope crunch to the drums (especially kicks and snares) and compresses the whole track nicely as well.

Or I resample my drum loop to tape and ...

I've been really messing with hihat "velocity" lately, IE take 1 hat sample and copy it to 3 pads, going down in volume with each copy, also shortening each copy kind of at random or slightly trimming the beginning off of each of them (different amounts). Then just kinda randomly going between them ...
