Re: Export samples
Of course I can resample each and every sample manually. I was wondering is there was a quick and easy way to export all samples as .wav at once. Seems like I'll have to do it all manually resampling hundreds of samples!

Export samples
Hi
Is it possible to export samples to a PC as .wav?
I have an SP-505 with a lot of samples in the memory card. I don't have the original samples on my PC, so I would like to export all the samples to my PC so I can re-import them into another sampler (Digitakt...yes, I have betrayed Roland!). Is is ...

Re: The Legend of DR-202 MIDI (SP-202/SP-303)
It's true that the DR-202 Midi implementation is rubbish. Both the SP-505 and the DR-202 have MIDI IN and MIDI OUT, there's even a MIDI THRU setting somewhere in the DR, but in reality, it's impossible to make these 2 boxes send a stupid MIDI Start/stop signal through, they have to be either at the ...

Re: Effects on coaxial?
Yes I remember that now. But the problem is that I can't play other pads while in sample mode and I would like to do that in live, not to record a sample

Effects on coaxial?
Hello,
Apparently it is not possible to apply effects on the coaxial external source, only on the traditional line in.
The coaxial LED can be lit up with the Select Source button only when in sample mode, not in standard mode.
I couldn't find the information about that in the user guide.

Re: What size SM card do you use?
I confirm the larger the card the longer the wait time at first sampling initialization. Up to 18s. with with a 128MB card and 2s. without card.

You're welcome. I'm still a beginner with the 505

Re: Sp and...
I have never played with a "real" loopstation, but the MC-09 is certainly a kind of loopstation, and much much fun to play with.
These days my 3 favourite machines that I can play alone or with friends are:
TR-8 for big fat beats (808, 909, 707, 606)
MC-09 : 4 track looper/sampler + 303 bassline ...

Re: What size SM card do you use?
I have a 64MB card and there are no load times. Turn the unit on, select a card bank, samples are there, no load.
Perhaps the sampling initialization phase is longer on a big card, not sure.
At least on my unit, the first time you sample after turning it on you have to wait 10-15 seconds after you ...

Re: NEW Roland SP-404A
Sorry if that's been posted before. Here's how to integrate the 404SX and 404A with the TR-8 drum machine.

Like I said in another post, I tried that with the 505, without success...

Re: Resample with BPM
Apparently the TR-8 is not able to send Program change messages
Source : https://static.roland.com/assets/media/ ... _e02_W.pdf
I guess the "x" in the Program change line and the "Transmitted" column means a "no"

Re: Resample with BPM
Thanks for the tip. I'll try to use Program Change from my TR-8 (probably by changing kits)
In the meantime they've released the 404A to be compatible with the TR-8, so I wonder if the 505 was the right choice, because I tested the new TR-8 firmware that adds a function to change the 404SX/A banks ...

Re: Resample with BPM
turn your sample type to "phrase".
it will the be stretched to fit the bpm.
Thanks, but I don't want the sample to be stretched, I want the re-sample recording of the loop to stop at the right time depending on the BPM. If re-sampling stops too early or too late, time stretching will not fix it ...
