Problem is, when I pop in a Zip Disk(I've tried 2 different disks multiple times) it doesn't seem to recognize I've put it in. I'll pop in a Zip Disk all the way, the green light will flash pretty fast, then eventually flash every second. But the LCD screen will simply ...

I picked up some 100 MB iomega zip disks, which I was told should work with the sp 808, as its zip disk reader is for 100 MB disks, and that it will convert it to work with the machine. I popped one in my Sp and still got the "Please Insert Zip Disk." message. Does it take time to convert it? Or ...

I was sure it was gonna come with one, but nope, now I have a useless SP 808. It seems to work fine but without a zip drive it seems I can't do anything.


Is it possible to run the 808 without a zip?


Where can I find some zip cards?

I plan to buy a good deal on a sp808 but I'm not sure if it comes with the AC adapter/power cable. Where can I find one? My search results don't yield much info

I was gonna probably get a SP 202 because that's all my budget allowed, but it turns out I may have enough to upgrade to a 808. This would be a much better improvement, right? It seems to have better effects and more options. Also, the listing I'm looking seems to include 2 zip ...

I know the SP 202 isn't ideal, but it's one of the few samplers out there that's really in my budget.
