Re: Various BPM per Pattern
I copied patterns. I think that was the problem. I dont think you can set copied patterns to a different BPM. I think it also changes the bpm of the original pattern

Various BPM per Pattern
Is this possible? I try to make a couple of patterns and some of them don't have the same BPM. But everything pattern automatically changes to the bpm of the previous recorded/adjusted pattern..

Re: sp 505 pitch question
I have other samplers that can do that. But I want to get the most out of my 505, so I can make beats on the spot when not having the opportunity to access my other samplers. The 505 is still a small box I can carry with me all the time.

Re: sp 505 pitch question
All I can say is that I did a little trick by putting the sample in a pattern and slow or speed up the bpm of the pattern itself. For some reason, it sounds better than timestretch. Some gobby guk but not like the hideous timestretch.
This is when you have the sample set to 'Phrase'?

Thanks for your time and answers! Appreciate it.
Maybe some one who does a lot of sequencing on the sp505 knows more or different?

Re: BPM Adjust - Phrase
As in the final result, yes.
So this is only possible via resampling the sample? You can not adjust the bpm of a sampler and play that sample on top of sequencer without the bpm of the sequencer affecting the bpm of the sample?

BPM Adjust - Phrase
Only when the sample is set to single mode, the bpm of a sample won't change to the pattern's bpm when that pattern is playing.
I want to change the BPM manually in BPM adjust mode, but it when I fasten the sample up, the sample will still adjust to the pattern's bpm when I play that pattern. When ...

Re: Post for Bendova
Thanks for the reply.
But I don't think that's gonna work in my situation since the 505 has 8 polyfony.
I was wondering how people use only mono samples and two track out and still can get it sound like a stereo image (with the drums and bass still in the center)

Re: Post for Bendova
Maybe a retarded question but if you sample all sounds in mono. How do you eventually get a 'stereo imaged' tracks with the by example the kicks and bassline placed in the centre (assuming you are two tracking)

No sound from recorded notes
I tried to record a pattern with samples I chopped up that I have layed over a chopbank. I go through the recording procedure and while the metronome is clicking I can press the pads that are holding my chopped up hits. Even when I press play to start the countdown and begin recording I hear the ...
