I tried to record a pattern with samples I chopped up that I have layed over a chopbank. I go through the recording procedure and while the metronome is clicking I can press the pads that are holding my chopped up hits. Even when I press play to start the countdown and begin recording I hear the sounds playing coming out of the pads. But when I listen to the recorded pattern, no sound is playing. If I use a bank which contains stocksounds I can hear the recorded notes..
I browsed through the manual but I couldnt find anything. Checked the wave edit screens for each separate hit but nothing seems to be faulty tweeked. I'm probably missing a very obvious setting...
From my understanding each pattern can hold up to 4 different layers (parts). I also could no find anything on whether or not overdubbing a part of pattern is possible or that you just have to play the whole part of the pattern again completely.
