I opened up my 606 one time and saw on the mother board inside there is an empty port with the words EPROM Update next to it.

what is this for? what can be added?

I used to be able to connect my 606 to my macbook and sample via usb

the 606 used to show up in the audio preferences screen on the mac.

now for some reason it wont detect it no matter i put on the USB Audio/MIDI screen on the 606
