i have an SP404 and SP606 and have recently picked up the 808 too

i was wondering what you can do by connecting the 606 and 808 together with a a MIDI cable?

is there a way to use the FX on the 606 on the 808? for instance i'd like to use the mastering and EQ functions on the 606 with sounds i have in the 808…


is this a wild fantasy gone wrong?

-well, sp606 does midi notes out but in a complicated and limited way, it does midi sync too but if i'm not wrong the sp808 doesn't have a sequencer...by the way, you have some cool explaination for this last thing on page 153 of the 808 manual...

-what do you mean exactly to use 606s FX on the 808? by effecting 808s audio coming into the 606 ins?
