I'm only trying to import small files, less than 5mb.

I'd like the option to load in drum sounds if that's something the machine is supposed to be able to do.

My 404 won't load past 1-2 samples.

Everytime I want to load more than 2 samples, it'll load 1 or 2 samples, then say the memory is full. I'm using a 1GB transcend CF card and I initialized the internal memory so that can't be the case.

OK! I checked the samples, converted the ones that weren't but I went back and re-read the manual like 4 times and found that my samples we're most likely too short. a majority of them are at the 00:00:00 length. So I tried using a short beat and it works!

I don't think I'm doing this right. I'm following the steps to try and import .wav files into the sampler but it'll only import a select few. Is there a reason for this?

Hey. I'm brand new to the forum as I just got an SP-404.

I was playing around trying to learn about the machine and I found some samples I like. Is there a way to record a freestyle without using the pattern editor?
