alright thank you guys
i just tried using a rca to stereo guitar cable, and connect the rca ends to my turntable and the guitar cable side to the MIC IN slot. the volume is already a lot higher just doing that

I use my dads old Realistic LAB-85 belt drive turntable from the 70's and plug it directly into the rca jacks on the back of my SP404sx, with the input volume knob turned all the way up.

Ive noticed when I sample my vinyls from my turntable directly to my 404's inputs, the sound is very quiet and when I use filters n shit to turn it up, a big hiss comes with it- which some times covers up that beautiful record crackle . Is there any way to record pristine samples that you guys know ...

The k-station looks really cool/fun. But, can it patch more than just the trance-y house sounds that have I keep hearing across the internet? And also does anyone here use a monotron with their sp?

I am presently using ableton synths and the Animoog iPhone app. I used my friends microkorg yesterday, really liked being more hands-on and being able to achieve a "fatter" quality in sound unlike the Ableton synths. If only hardware synths were cheaper...

Hey I am wondering what synthesizers you guys have found to integrate best with your SP's. I am trying to find a hardware/software synth that would work best with my 404sx.

Is there a way I can dump all of my 404sx's memory (i.e. all my samples & sequences) off my card and on to my computer- and be able to place it all back on my machine later???
and if so is there a way i could have like two different dumped memory groupings saved on my computer and put one on the ...
