Is there a way I can dump all of my 404sx's memory (i.e. all my samples & sequences) off my card and on to my computer- and be able to place it all back on my machine later???
and if so is there a way i could have like two different dumped memory groupings saved on my computer and put one on the card some days, and the other on the card others?
thanks :3

Yes just copy the Roland and BKUP folders to your comp. Also if you want to save space you can just do a backup on the SP then copy just that backup file from the backup folder to your computer.
If you delete them from the card and replace with other folders you saved at another time the SP will load up just as it was. I do it all the time. Just be sure to put the things you save on the computer in named folders that make sense to you.
I do this all the time as I like to start with an empty SP before beginning work on battles etc.
