Re: memphis rap beats

i think you can do it on sp's without note repeat like 404 or 303, by looping samples resampled with some silence at the end for fine setting the gap for looping (timing eg. triplet notes or smth) and if you have several pads with different mark settings and looping set to ON, but same sample on ...

Re: Most useless FX on your SP's

If you can sing, octave is perfect for subsonic basslines. It not so much colors the sound but instead kind of mimics the frequency with a sine wave at lower octaves. so instead of sampling subsonic at different frequencies, you can literally 'sing' your basslines. You also have control over the ...

Re: Most useless FX on your SP's

octave>subsonic.

hey I think the opposite. Because of much more tweaking options in subsonic (nearly all frequencies in provided bandwidth) octave gives You only 2 "notes" very distorted and usually without any timbre.

Yeah bpm looper is weird compared to djfx.
I like that 3 types of ...

Most useless FX on your SP's

Im curious of Your opinion bout that. I think that the FX Roland fckd up the most is Octave  i think that produce only useless low and out of tune crazy noise similar to lowpassed white noise ... oh maybe im missing an important part of that mysterious effect but personally when I turn it on I ...

Re: "True" Pitch for drums

Thanks :) You know, all I read is that 404 hasn't got Pitch feature. So I thought that it must be some method :P after watching some random sp vid on youtube where guy is playng live using this looper and pitching, I've heard that sound is REALLY slowing down for a period together with key, so why ...

"True" Pitch for drums

Hi! Im just happy owner of lovely 404 OG since 5 hours and I've discovered nice method for pitching drums or other short pieces of sound (due to lack of real Pitch feature in 404). And sorry for my english  I'm not sure if it was discussed before but it may help some of You. So, we need to ...
