wow thanks guys! The SP has definitely simplified my workflow. Committing to a sound right off the bat has made making music a lot more fun again. That vinyl sim on those keys made things a lot tastier for sure

The RCA outputs themselves aren't terrible, in fact I really like the sound of the SP when tracked out... but then again I have an audio interface. Would not recommend tracking out into the computer's 1/8" jack. Tracking into something like a mixer, too, can give you the added benefits of passing ...

Just wanted to get some input here regarding sequencing bass lines on the SP samplers. Since you can't record in while playing a pattern, what do you guys normally do? Subsonic effect? Record one note at a time and sequence bass one pad at a time from there? Play a bass line while ...

pretty much its like this...

1. wutever sample you want ducking out, turn the vol really low. like around 10-30.

2. turn on MFX12. knob 1 all the way to the right, knob 2 all the way to the left, knob 3 all the way to the right, with effect limit on.

3. to make the sample duck out you apply ...

The title of my post pretty much says it all. The manual's great but I'm a hands-on learner and seeing what I'm doing really helps. Anyone have any helpful resources for the 404sx besides the manual?
