all those jon wayne 404 tapes were heavy. Was listening to your old tape "c'est Fini" i think the other week Euclid.

just lots of delay, reverb, echo etc. then get a few fuzz box's. When i got the cash i want to stereo up my guitar set up. I'm building a bit crusher pedal on payday. really is a case of experimenting with different set ups until you hit what you want. then you got to consider amps,mics and all that ...

you don't purchase a 404 for features, it's on a different wave length to mpc's and software. the lack of certain things is annoying at first but soon becomes a distant memory. sit down with some records and just the sp, give it time and you will soon love your new 404.

imaschine is nice on iphone, but it really is a sketch pad. i only use it for 5mins if i'm at my desk or smoking at lunch. If i make any decent loops i sample them when i get home. also use it for drum storage.

whats the problem with sound cloud? i think just for single beats/smalll one track tapes it serves it's purpose.

The 202 only receives midi, you can sequence it with a daw but not the other way.
