i've got a little problem with my volume pot too. I have looked around websites, but the best thing is to give it to a friend that is electrician, i think this is a generic potentiometer. If anyone is in europe and want to sell a broken sp 303 i would pay for this anyway!

man, if you are in europe i can buy it to you, i need to repair the volume knob in my sp 303. I really would need a broken sp 303. If anyone have please let me know.

i've tryed to use the smart media usb adapter too, but is a mess of time. I suggest to you to work with the sp, and then (with a good audio device) record it to your ableton live, and use the loops. This is not a big deal, but when i record the sample and I hit REC I can hear a noise of mass... I'm sure it's the power supply.. it's sound like an engine in some way "umhhhhhhzzz..."

With a smart media reader you can save in your computer all the file hosted in your card. You just need to do a sort of back up in your pc and load the stuff.
Anyway i found this way REALLY complicated for nothing. why are you using a damn sp instead of a simple software? It's a really waste of time ...

Yesterday I was making a beat on the sp-303 (m) and when I was editing the start/end of a loop I found out that the first knob is adjusting (force) the timing of the selected loop.
So you can halve the Bpm of it doing a kind of time-stretching, It can (maybe) helps with looping (freezing) a ...

How can you record the single hit hat loop without recording the other stuff? I mean, your way is cool to do when you use sequencer and one done all the stuff you record the loops in a software so, in that way once you record the hit hat, you can do the trick.

Or am i wrong?
