the speed of the SX is definitely nice. I like that i can sample a lot of stuff and then when i want to put it on my laptop, i just use the card reader and drag/drop the files. no need to export each one =D

i always plug the SX in when im trying to build up a sample library.

What are your guys thoughts on the Microkorg XL vs the Microkorg OG?

I got a korg monotron. I mainly use it for recording myself twisting knobs and just chopping up the weird sounds i get out of it.

Im looking to get a bigger more advanced synth and im looking at the microkorg. Sorry if this is a noob question but aside from being able to play actual chords and ...

Say i plan on compressing my entire track. Is it pointless to compress individual elements within the track first?
