SX and OG almost the same price used
Anyone notice this? Makes a body want to sell his OG for SX. Like trading in an old car for a newer model with out paying much extra. I like the new features-no internal memory, pattern copy-but is it really worth the hassle? Would I miss anything? I know this question has come up alot but do any of you SX owners really miss your OG ?

^^^
ducking is definitely different on the OG compared to the SX

I've got the SX and used to have the OG. In my eyes, the pattern copy is SO worth it! makes my life easier. I can now sample a longer phrase to pad 1, then copy as many times as I want and just mark up each pad.
I do miss the vinyl sim compressor, but the copy function, SD cards and the software out weighs it in my eyes.

That's what I was thinking. All that storage space on one card. What about the swing? Is it usable?

I wouldn't trade my OG for an SX. I love mine too much and it does what I want it to do.

the speed of the SX is definitely nice. I like that i can sample a lot of stuff and then when i want to put it on my laptop, i just use the card reader and drag/drop the files. no need to export each one =D
i always plug the SX in when im trying to build up a sample library.
OG = dirty
but like someone posted in another thread John wayne makes his SX sound like an OG at times.
Also the way the effects are set up on the SX are kind of nicer for live effect tweaking. I.e
filter ----------------isolator
voice trans(vol cut)----DJFXlooper
delay ----------------MFX

Thanks all. I'm going to contemplate. There is a open box for 299 at a local shop.
