thanks i didn't know that. i have 266mb left on my card. since i need half of the card space left what is the best method of importing as many beats as possible with good quality on the 404?

my cf card is 1gb and all of the beats aren't taking up all the space...i'm not sure at all what the problem could be. i start importing in bank c. i have some samples saved on banks a and b but that's the internal memory so it has nothing to do with this. its ust kinda frustrating trying to figure ...

all of songs were already at 16bit. i dropped them down to 8bit and they all imported into the 404 but they all have a hissing sound now. thanks for the tip still. do you have a solution to get rid of the hissing sound when i drop the beats down to 8bit?

I'm having trouble importing songs into my 404. I've never had trouble importing samples before but for some reason i'm having trouble with songs. It imports half of them and then stops. All of the songs being imported are wav and are simply numbered so i'm not sure what the problem could be. Any ...

You can't "run the sp through the microkorg via midi".
Again, the SP doesn't have a midi output, only an input.
What you could do is running the midi out of the microkorg into your computer (FL studio) and the output to the midi in of the SP. That way you can use the korg as a midi keyboard and via ...

i think i'm going to try and run the sp through the microkorg via midi and then run the microkorg through fl studio via midi. i'm hoping to be able to build tracks on there and record.

slave microkorg to 404 via midi?
i'm not sure if this is possible; can i slave my microkorg to the 404 even though the 404 only has midi in? if so how do i go about doing it?
