I am able to use it as a sample dropper no problem...
Just needed to know how to set it up to use the effects as in a send/return situation...dont know if i have to change something in the menu or not....it is reading the signal from my mixer but i am unable to return the ...

just purchased an allen and heath xone 22 mixer and wanted to hook it up to the 606 to see what some effects sound like for a dj set...is it possible ?

I want to write and record tracks into ableton.I have the 606 and desk both connected via usb to my mac.Ableton recognizes the 606 no problem.I have ableton set to slave and can manipulate the tempo via the 606..The problem is when I play patterns from the 606 I cannot hear anything or see anything ...

I have finally got the sp 606 beat slaving into ableton live ....now I cant here any patterns playing but the metronome clicking ...?

As a user of the 606 ,I have never had the opportunity to use any of the other roland samplers...has anyone used these other samplers and how do they compare to the sp 606 in terms of functionality,sound and feel?

Can I use the sp 606 as an effects unit?
eg... plug the 606 via send and return into my ecler 4 channel mixer ...then access the many effects on the sp 606 ....use one effect back into my chosen line of the ecler mixer...if so has anyone ever tried this and what were the results..?
