Is it possible to sequence a Zoom Sampletrak st-224 with...

A Novation Circuit? I saw a Ricky Tinez video where he sequenced his SP-404SX with a Circuit. Can the same be done with a Sampletrak?

Re: "Memory Full" - but I still have 2 empty pad banks!

I figured out the resampling, and now most of the samples in there are "mono-long". lo-fi sounded pretty bad so I didn't do that. I have one more open sample bank so I'll just convert the rest of the stuff in there to mono-long cuz it's giving me the memory full error msg again. I hope I'll still be ...

"Memory Full" - but I still have 2 empty pad banks!

I see from the manual that a maximum of 2 minutes of sampling time is all that can be stored in the 505. So all the samples I'm using are 16-bit mono, but It looks like I've still maxed out the internal memory. Is there a way to change the bit depth of the samples I've stored, or do I have to do it ...

Re: I just made my 1st sample pack for SM card!

Just created a user bank w/ several different loops and slices of loops. Not too hard and fun too.

I just made my 1st sample pack for SM card!

Copy/Paste-ed 54mb of samples on to the card, scrolled through them on the SP, it works! I even loaded a loop and chopped it, than had some fun applying effects and grooving on the pads. Thanks for the good advice, folks!

Re: Info about the SM card

Danke! Is it true that I can only put 150 samples total on the card no matter how much storage it has, due to the file system it uses? I read that on sonicstate.com.

Info about the SM card

I got a reader. put the SM card into it(after formatting it in the 505), and saw a folder called Roland, within which is a folder SP1, within which is a file SMPINFO0.SP1. I want to add some samples from my hard drive. They just go in the SP1 folder, right? in any order I want to put them?

Duh. Looks like I was just Pitching them an octave too high. I tried again and it sounds better.

Re: Problem trying to pitch an internal string sound

Looks like it's fixed! I took your advice and reinitialized, Everything appeards to be working. There's an annoying vibrato when the piano notes are pitched, though. Is that just a normal artifact of pitch-stretching?

Re: Problem trying to pitch an internal string sound

Just tried to do Pitch again, following the manual's instructions exactly. Instead of getting "Processing Data", or "OK to Overwrite?" I get "Error!!! Memory Full". The error message list refers me to page 69(delete unneeded date) or page 49(delete unneeded samples). The manual's instructions do not ...

Re: Problem trying to pitch an internal string sound

I'm looking at the 505 now and I'm noticing the top section of the Pitch page. where it says Pad#, Type, Preset 1-2 and Mono. Shouldn't I be able to access that top half of the screen and specify which pad I want pitched? Just hitting the pad dosen't seem to be doing it.

Re: Problem trying to pitch an internal string sound

Dang it. Got the thing off ebay for $160.00, maybe there was a reason it was so cheap. Yeah, I don't get either, it was working for Olby.
