Re: You first piece?

well technically, maschine is not a stand-alone piece of equipment because you need a computer to run it with. And since you're here in the SP-forums, most people will likely to recommend the SP404

my first piece of hardware equipments is a computer with reason 3.0, then I got an SP 404

Re: Studio Pics

here's the rest of my equipments. I still have a few more pieces lying around the house like TT's, records, mixer, headphones; but these are my main tools. Thinking about getting a Mopho next.

Cheers.

Go the EMX man, i have the microkorg and now considering getting the emx. It's much more versatile in term of sound manipulation and live performance

Re: Anyone rockin a DSI tetra? (or mopho)

thanks for your answer cartesia,

I think I will get the Tetr4 first, then get the blofeld in a couple months if I find it necessary later. I make hip-hop, trip-hop, drum-n-bass so I'm really urged to hear those analog sounds coming out of the DSI

good luck and have fun with your new piece

congrats on your new gear man, you should post picture of your set-up. How you liking the Tetr4 (it's spelled with "4" instead of "a", correct?)

I'm thinking about getting a new synth too, dont know if I should get the Tetr4 or the Blofeld + Mopho combo

Re: MV8800 on sale for $1099.00 @zzsounds

damn, bad news, the next shipping date from my dealer here in Vietnam is another week. but that's okay, i can wait. I'm in process of remodeling my house anyway. I got mine on ebay for only $999 + $200 for shipping the item back to Vietnam so total is only $1200, not to bad. Almost purchased it ...

Re: Tascam 414 4 Track Tape Recorder!!!!

argh, i want to get one of this too, but i'm worried that since the format is old, i hardly see any cassette tape around my city anymore, it's gonna be hard to find blank tape to record to. Also, tape recorders are known for generating more noises as the tapes get older. But despise all that, i ...

Re: Studio Pics

my first time posting picture of my set-up. it's nothing much, but i'd work with what i have. Shipping gear from anywhere in the world to where i live is expensive due to lack of availability, hefty taxes on imports especially for electronics. So i have to really think carefully, consider cost vs ...

Re: MPC 2000 + 303

the easiest way, i would imagine, is through midi.

MPC's midi out --> SP-303's midi in.

But you've got to change the pads on your MPC to trigger the notes/pads on the SP-303 correctly though. I'm not exactly sure since I do not own either of them, but the manuals should help.

(psss...psst...i'm comunist ahah)

Sorry.. no offense to nice communists

I think communism is a pretty good idea, except for the fact that some people are greedy, and greedy people tend to gravitate towards positions of power... corrupting the whole thing.

this is the exact system ...
