Go ahead ScottyKeys3E and start with your experiences.
It was always interesting to read the commercial side of music making... on SOS, computemusic, GS...

My opinion on this is:
If you fall into the bussines by any chance; 1st, your music is to be given to the artist you appreciate. If he makes a commerciall succsess and if you get something from it y not, if the machinery is not involved in creation process. You would make those tracks anyway.

there are 101 kids who are jus to big for their boots and shouldn't be selling beats.

but if your dope and you got demand for your ish why not make a bit of paper for your effort? that really don't make you a sucker, especially when you got bills to pay. the problem is when people make beats purely for paper and not for beats sake. like if you painted a dope picture and someone wanted the orginal and not a print, you wouldn't give it them for free.

surely making a living of what you love to do is a dream for everyone?? if not you must enjoy your job, im close to keeping a bottle of whisky in my desk.

all my opinion yo, so all is good!!
