Re: backing up onto the cf card
thanks for clarity dman,
i was confused about this issue too. they don't make it clear in the manual exactly what is backed up. i figured since banks a/b were the "internal" memory that it was the other banks that were saved to the back-up while a/b remained the same. i guess i'm thinking in sp 303 ...

Re: part you hate most about beat making?

404 sound in live settings
hello all,
writing today to ask advice about the sp 404 and live performance sound. had a show last night and thoroughly disappointed by the sound of beats that sound pretty damn fresh at home. especially kick drums. talked to the sound guy (who is the best i've ever come across and have worked ...

Re: Drum programming tips?
i noticed some producers will take a snare and eq it a lil bit and use one of them on the 2, and the other on the 4. the two slightly different sounds give it a real subtle swing.

resampling frustrations
i'm having trouble getting my 404 to resample a sound at the same volume as effected original sample. when i press "resample" button the sound becomes distorted and when i adjust the level to a point where it is not distorting the resampled sound is significantly lower than the first and also doesn ...

303 acting dodgy!
hey everybody! having some troubles with my beloved 303. a lot of it has to do with power issues...the jack for the adapter is a lil crooked cause some mf decided to step on the cord...anyway, now it has problems cutting off (especially during pattern playback) and freezing up. in addition things ...
