303 acting dodgy!

hey everybody! having some troubles with my beloved 303. a lot of it has to do with power issues...the jack for the adapter is a lil crooked cause some mf decided to step on the cord...anyway, now it has problems cutting off (especially during pattern playback) and freezing up. in addition things have started happening internally and i don't know if the crummy jack is to blame. when programming a pattern every once in a while it records a glitch that comes up in every playback (i noticed mostly in snares) and randomly pads will not trigger in a pattern (which is kinda cool)... and other random events...it happens in nearly every pattern i program and will ruin something dope. i've got some fairly old, heavily used cards (one card fritzed out completely in the machine killing 100's of hours of work!) so maybe that's the problem? i reformatted the card and used other cards since and the same problem happens with programming patterns. and the glitch doesn't sound cool! the machine is about two years old and it doesn't seem like it should be dying already. is it possible to get jack repaired or replaced (they always say "it's just as cheap to buy a new one" which i hate)?

just got a 404 for live shows after a few embarrassing situations...but it feels foreign...and the resampling function doesn't copy the sound as good without adjusting the volume!

i undestand you roxy-dylan.
i bought an sp-404 too, great machine don't get me wrong, but the 303 is unique.
i have troubles with jack (in/out), this is not everytime but it happens. someone on the forum suggests me to solder some internal parts, it sound not so difficult but i didn't do that until now. anyway your problem seems to be a little bit "shitful" (bad english, sorry).
