I've been thinkin for a while,

how about a separate battle-
just "open warfare" or sumthin haha.. same idea - one sample, one break,
but let people use all the gear they like..

Not something to do as often as the SP battles though, maybe just once every 10th SP battle, also have a new open battle ...

I disagree.. There are many other areas that are just as versatile.

i think he means quantize say a chunk of audio that contains multiple notes etc... which you cant. you can only quantize the pattern information.

what sort of place are you gonna be playing at?

RCA, XLR, or mono 1/4" plugs are the most likely going to be available.

Stereo 1/4" plugs are really only used for inserts, headphones, or gear that is very very very lacking in space

Also alot of small shitty clubs still run the whole system in ...

I think the SP series just needs a bit of a different approach to most other gear.. you'll get the hang of it!

All it is is reading sample data ...

you use a CF card reader.

you take the CF card out of the 404, put it in the reader, the reader plugs into your USB plug.

Then it shows up as a storage device on your computer, you put the stuff on it,
eject it. and put it in the 404.

Would someone with a QY70 please be able to help me,

I'm trying to get it to transmit MIDI out,

but at the moment it doesn't seem to be sending anything - eg when I hit the micro-keyboard notes, it will play an internal sound, but the midi data light on my synth does not flash. - meaning ...

You can't use the power supply that comes with it, - well you could with a stepdown transformer, but that would be a costly solution to an easy problem.

just go to your local electronics store and buy a 9V DC power supply, (check the mA rating too.. make sure you get *at least* the same mA as the ...

I have a VCR sitting on my desk, always plugged into my audio interface as a send/return..

For really messed up sound, use the video part of the vcr input/output instead of the audio parts.

Thanks a lot for your help. There's a lot of FlyLo, Ras G, and Dak stuff on there I want to get on my computer.

Click the apple in the top menu bar, go to system preferences->trackpad

the normal way to do it is cmd-click


but you can just change the trackpad settings so that you put 2 fingers on the pad and press the button and it works like rightclicking.
