I just got my 404 today.. after looking all over for a 1gb CF, I gave up... I guess I will have to order one.. But to transfer samples from my macbook pro to my 404, what kind of USB cord will i need? Should I use a MIDI to USB, or an RCA to USB? Will they both work? I looked it up in the instructions and couldn't find anything about it.

you use a CF card reader.

you take the CF card out of the 404, put it in the reader, the reader plugs into your USB plug.

Then it shows up as a storage device on your computer, you put the stuff on it,
eject it. and put it in the 404.

404 does not have usb
