I think I'm going to back up everything on my CF card then format it, and also reinitialize the machine - I'm sure the info on how to do so is available online, anyone else has anything to chime in on? Reinitializing the 606 is pretty easy.

Dope sounds, but y'all really need to stop making all these :45-1:00 beats, it seems like it's a habit/culture among the sp heads - but to most listeners it's just annoying, if you like the sound of something you don't want it to end after 45 secs...haha sorry to rant in your thread about that ...

Thanks man! The pella is available - you can find it pretty easy by googling...this track has actually been remixed quite a lot (mostly pretty lousy doom/madlib knockoffs though). any of y'all ever experience what I can only describe as stuttering/glitching of what you are resampling, like looping tiny pieces, obviously messing it up - it only happens after around the 3 minute mark when I'm resampling a beat - but NEVER when recording a beat from an outside source ...

Check it out if you missed it peeps...it's not the typical SP forums style of tape (short beats, short overall play time) - but it's something to marinate on...I made beats for years and this is the first thing I felt good about sharing

Dude that first beat is THE WORK - had the effect of making me involuntarily start rhyming...that 2nd beat is also got a really crazy vibe, I dig the way the did the drums on these joints and the samples/melodies are really fucking good man

this track is dope man, I like everything about it - the synths are really loud compared to the drums but maybe that was intentional - the only piece of constructive feedback I could give is that the track doesn't quite glue together as a mix, but I dig the rhythm and the synth work is pretty slick
