thank you cartesia, i have no options on the MIDI pedalboard so you mean i have to search for the correspondent pad on the pedalboard? until i find the one that change?

anyone has any clues about how changing SP-404 Pads with an external MIDI pedalboard? connected the pedalboard out to the in of the SP, nothing happens, while the same pedalboard works on any other keyboards or devices.. I read on the manual the MIDI channels receiving list..but no luck ...

well u need a rca-1/4 jack cable, simply plug it in the amp.

just set the start and end point (mark button) of every portion of the sample for example from 1 to 3 seconds, from 4 to 7 seconds and goin on.then resample each one in different pads.. so u can play them in different sequences.hope it helps..

read the manual, i see many people that don't.. it's well explained for the basic functions.

the sample with 1 at the end will be import first then the second one.

i have imported many files with names longer than 8 characters, so just put a number at the end or at the beginning of the name.

it imports in alphabetical order.

I'm just annoyed that I can't load my own samples from my computer yet. I can't find any CF cards below 2GB Sad

are u sure the samples are cut from the start?

from what i know u can press tap tempo button at the beat of the sample you're playing so that the bpm will sync with it.

just bought a couple of sandisk CF on ebay and they work fine.

turn off the sample loop function and keep pressed the pad, while the pattern sequence plays. i tried this with success.

or you just export the samples u have in the card as aif/wav files then formatting the card in the sp-404 and then copy 'em back.
