just set the start and end point (mark button) of every portion of the sample for example from 1 to 3 seconds, from 4 to 7 seconds and goin on.then resample each one in different pads.. so u can play them in different sequences.hope it helps..

The manual is available for download in the S.P.I section of this forum and on Roland website.

right, just to expand on the mark button, the sample is playin, and mark isn't already lit, you hit it once and it sets a start, then you hit it again and it sets an end, if you don't hit it or just hit the main pad again it sets the end as whats already the end, and to start at the beginning hold down mark before you hit the pad, then use the start/end/level for fine tune adjustments and resample to another pad, make sure you leave yourself a little room for adjustment if you want to add back a few milliseconds on the beginning or end of the chop later on (nothin sucks more than when you lower the bpm of a pattern by one and it sounds great except your one chop keeps cuttin out early before the next one comes in and you can't add anything to it), then go back to the original pad, play it, and while its playin hit mark, and it will get rid of the mark points you set, reset em, and then resample that, keep repeatin, and remember if you are tryin to use an fx on one to keep it the same for every resample for consistency in sound
