The pad takes 3sec to play the sample! help!

Hi everyone! Im new to the sp 404. I just got it yesterday and ive been doing good so far and looking at this forum for my questions but today i got a problem that i cant find the answer to any where. When i press the pads i dont hear the sound right away it takes 3 sec's to play. I dont know what i did. Its annoying as fuck! i press the pad and the sound takes 3sec to hear. This didnt happen yesterday so im confused if i did something wrong. Please help! Sorry im a big noob heh

Edit: Weird! I loaded up logic pro and fixed the settings. Works like its supposed to.

are u sure the samples are cut from the start?

change your 'mark' point to the beginning of the sampled sound. ie: put the mark point after any silence that starts the sample.
