Interesting stuff. I haven't actually dabbled with CV yet, but do have an MPC One that supports it and a Pocket Operator on the way that (should) also work with that.
The way I understood how CV works is ; control voltage determines which note and at which pitch (it'll naturally be a set range ...

Re: Thrift Shops are getting greedy
Think I'm done with greedy thrift stores & bland damaged records. Found a much better source for cheaper records and plenty of quality. Might decide to get rid of some, or not?
Honestly, I feel you. There's a lot of garbage (for a sampling head that is) that is dumped at thrift stores that is ...

Re: Behringer RD9
Isn't the CV stuff signal only, but not anything powered? How could it destroy your equipment? Genuine question. I mean, are you talking about some sort of feedback loop?

Re: FIRST!
Not a magical trick but...
If you put a pad with a short sample of silence in your mutegroup you can just hit this pad to mute your playing samples and you don't need to hammer on "exit" several times or hit "record" and then "exit".
Yeah that's actually a very nice trick on any sampler that ...

Re: SPBB329
I am not participating, as mine wasn't made on an SP, but these samples were dope. It was nice to make a beat again;

I removed and banned the spam / phishing bots. I'm sure you guys are all smart enough, but don't click any of these 'track your gf's phone' type links by completely new accounts that reply to each other.

Re: SP-404 MK2?
Honestly, it might be a bit of a hot take, but I'm not so sure the whole audio converter and signature sound argument always holds very true. People underestimate what can (and should) be done through mastering a final mix. And some of the stuff from like the 90s really boils down to knowing how to ...

@headphones: I wouldn't worry about reviving old threads. I personally don't have a problem with that at all to be honest. Most threads on here tend to stay open pretty much forever anyway. Peace!

Re: SP-404 MK2?
Anyway, Excited to see this. However im still waiting on a 707 as the predecessor of the all time boss the 505.
Yeah, either a 505 successor or an SP-606 successor would be sick. I think people are still sleeping on both OGs to be honest. Yes, the SP-404 is cool, but the SP-606 is more of an all ...

Yeah, I know what you're saying. I have most if not all of the powers I could have, however, I don't believe I can change the not-so secret password question thing. As for captchas and so on, some time ago they were working on that, which was why for some time no new users could register on here ...

Re: The Ultimate YouTube Alternative:
I'm going to lock this topic, but not delete it. I think people should be free in what platforms they want to promote or use themselves. I don't think promoting BitChute means you automatically also agree with everything someone like Alex Jones says or claims or whatever other people (right wingers ...

I know your post is ancient, but feel free to report bots to me (or send PM or whatever). I do go over the reports from time to time, just don't have a lot of time.
