After selecting the SYN patch you want to play, set your controller to channel 11. The virtual analog synth is a 2 osc and is only monophonic but is heavily programmable.

Press [SHIFT] and [FX EDIT], go right to loc. Patchloc or "Patch Location" scroll with wheel to select track pre or post fader, record, master, aux in -out or mic. The same applies to Virtual analog synth.

Triggerfinger works great with the SP-808 you can even switch pad banks with it.

I attempted to upgrade To the ex os using the Roland SMF player and was unsuccessful. I was able to install the 1.05 os using my M-Audio Delta 1010lt and it worked fine but when loading the EX midi data when transmitted it does not recognize or reply back to the SMF player.
